The whole stack, one engineer
My work spans the full stack. The product side is React/Next.js front ends on Python back ends — FastAPI and Django — over PostgreSQL, plus the commerce and on-chain variants of the same job: Shopify back ends and Liquid themes, Solidity contracts and the dApp front ends that talk to them. The operations side is the servers, networks, and pipelines those products run on, provisioned, secured, and maintained.
Those two sides overlap, and I like working where they meet — treating the schema, the API and UI on top of it, the containerized service, the CI pipeline, the firewall and DNS in front of it, and database tuning under load as connected parts of one system rather than separate problems. Seeing the whole thing at once is also what keeps it cheap to run: the right index, a right-sized server, and a pipeline that does not rebuild what has not changed tend to beat paying for more of everything.
